Turlock is lucky to have so many great parks and playgrounds for kids. My kids have swung, spun, and raced through many of them ... and definitely have their favorites!
Here’s a list of our family’s top five favorite parks and playgrounds in Turlock and the reasons we love them:
Park name: Donnelly Park
Location: 600 Pedras Road
Features: Perfect for family BBQ and feeding the ducks.
What my kids love: The ducks, The playground
What I love: The large grassy area.
Park name: Crane Park
Location: 1555 E Canal Rd.
Features: perfect for any family. tennis courts, play ground, sidewalks all around, BBQ pits, hours shoe pits, and many more things.
What my kids love: The basketball courts, the swings
What I love: The large shade trees
Park name: Summerfaire Park
Location: 1350 Fulkerth Rd.
Features: Large grassy area.
What my kids love: the large grassy area for football games or tag.
What I love: The benches under the shade.
Park name: Columbia Park
Location: 100-199 Columbia St
Features: one of the cities pools, The playground for the kids, bathrooms, water park
What my kids love: The city pool and water park
What I love: The water park
Park name: Broadway Park
Location: 501 N Broadway St
Features: tables, benches, the waterpark, shade, trees, BBQ pits, bathrooms
